Employment Opportunity – Financial Clerk The Town of Wyoming is seeking applicants to fill the position of Financial Clerk.  This position is responsible for the day-to-day financial and personnel operations including, but not limited to payroll, benefits, paid time off, pension, accounts payables, accounts receivables, property tax billing and payments, budgeting, and other related projects.  Experience with QuickBooks and payroll is required.  A minimum of two years of experience in a municipal setting is preferred, but not required.  Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organization are a must.  If interested, submit a resume and completed Employment Application via email to townofwyoming@comcast.net , fax to 302-697-7961, drop off or mail to 1 N.   Water Leak Repair Scheduled Date: MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2020 Time: 8:00 AM – Until completed (same day) Location: Intersection of Grant St & Mechanic St On Monday, March 30 beginning at 8:00 am, throughout the day, you will experience temporary loss of water service for we will be repairing a water leak. The water leak repair is located at the intersection of Grant Street and Mechanic Street. Water will be restored at the completion of the job the same day. While work is taking place, you will experience loss of water until the repair is completed. After the work is completed, you may experience temporary and harmless discoloration of the water. Yard Waste &; Bulk Pick-up- Has Been Reinstated

Effective Immediately Republic Services has Reinstated Yard Waste & Bulk Pick-up.  Bulk Pick-up will resume on Wednesday April 29, 2020. Yard Waste will resume back on Tuesday May 5, 2020. Any questions, please give us a call at 302-697-2966.


Road Closures coming soon

You may have noticed signs going up on S. Railroad Ave and Southern Blvd. Closures and detours are expected to start on April 6, 2020. This is expected to last approximately 3-4 weeks to install new gas lines.

Message from Camden Wyoming Sewer and Water Authority

Within the next few weeks the Camden-Wyoming Sewer & Water Authority will be upgrading the water main located on Second Street (Between N. Layton Ave and N. Railroad Ave). The existing cast iron 4-inch diameter water main will be replaced by a 6-inch PVC water main to improve your water quality and quantity in your area. Water service laterals from the new main to your existing curb boxes will also be replaced with PVC piping.   You may have already noticed CWSWA crews and other utilities in your area marking their underground mains and services with paint marks on the street and right of way. This is being done to protect the underground utilities during construction.   At the completion of this project we ensure that all areas are restored to their original condition.
