The three (3) Council seats are to fill two (2) 2-year terms and one (1) 1-year term. The Mayor seat is to fill a 3-year term. If you are not sure of how your property in Wyoming is zoned, you might want to check with Laura or Pam in Town Hall. They can look it up for you and let you know. Recently we have had residents think they were zoned one way only to find out that when the August 2009 Land Use and Development Code was approved, the zoning was changed.

The Camden Wyoming Fire Company has their regular Tuesday Night Bingo each week at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) as a fundraiser throughout the year. Remember, they are a volunteer fire company and need all the financial support we can give them. They have various fundraisers throughout the year so please come out and give them your support whenever an event is advertised.

The construction of the Delaware Railroad in the 1850s led to the establishment of the Delmarva Peninsula’s first and most important north-south railway transportation artery. Proximity to the nearby community of Camden resulted in the location of a station here when the railroad arrived in 1856.
