Fire Hydrant Flow Testing

Time Period: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
The Camden-Wyoming Sewer and Water Authority will be doing a Fire Hydrant Flow Testing. This is required for future development. This may result in temporary and harmless discoloration of the water and/or fluctuations in water pressure. Should this occur, running a cold water tap for a short period will help to restore water color to normal. to avoid possible discoloration of light colored clothing, residents may wish to not not launder during the time indicated above and for the next 24 hours after testing.

Town of Wyoming Fall Yard Sale
Are you looking to get your closets, attic, basement or garage cleaned out? Wyoming will be holding its annual yard sale on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will be advertising the week prior to help draw a lot of people. Anyone living on a side street that is out of the main traffic pattern is welcome to bring your tables and wares to set up in the grassy areas on either side of Town Hall.

Chat with Council
Come Chat with Council this Saturday August 10th. Members of Council will be at Town Hall at 10am to talk with residents of Wyoming. This is an informal gathering. No minutes or actions will be taken.

Town of Wyoming maintained streets will have street sweeping services on Wednesday July 23rd.
Wyoming Peach Festival
Join the Town of Wyoming for the 29th annual Peach Festival! The event kicks off with a parade at 9am down Camden-Wyoming Avenue, from Fifer Middle School to West Third Street. Followed by live music & entertainment at the train platform.
In addition to some great performances, this family friendly festival features food trucks, craft & artisan vendors, community displays, a raffle, peach dessert contest, kids activities, and so much more! And don’t forget to visit the bounce house village by Bounce Around Inflatables & Games, LLC that will surely knock your socks off!
New this year is the Peach Festival Raffle which will include a number of incredible prizes donated by over twenty local businesses. Participants may buy as many tickets as they like and bid them on any item(s) they want by placing one or more tickets in the “hat” beside the item(s) they are trying to win. Winners will be announced toward the end of the Festival. You do not need to be present to win, but all prizes must be picked up at the Town Hall.
Free parking and shuttle bus rides at W.B. Simpson Elementary School (5 Old North Rd) and Wyoming United Methodist Church (216 Wyoming Mill Rd). Handicap parking available at Pippin Funeral Home.
Admission is free and the Festival will be held rain or shine. For safety, please refrain from bringing your pets to the festival.
