CDBG Applications Being Accepted

Police Officer Job Opening
Date Posted: Tuesday, November 20th, 2018The Wyoming Police Department is currently accepting applications for Police Officer. The following are the requirements for the position: 21 years of age upon the completion of the academy, U.S. Citizen, High School Diploma or equivalent, and possession of a valid driver’s license. The Wyoming Police Department offers a competitive starting salary, medical insurance, paid vacation, retirement through the State Municipal Plan and a take home vehicle. Certified applicants will be given a conditional hire until they meet all the requirements set by the Council on Police Training and a modified field training program. Non-certified applicants who meet the requirements will need to pass the following to be considered for the position: written test, physical agility test, background investigation, psychological examination, medical examination, and drug screening. CWSWA Flow Test
Date Posted: Tuesday, September 4th, 2018Water Quality Issues Reported on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 Dear Camden-Wyoming Sewer & Water customer, Date: TUESDAY, September 4, 2018 Time Period: Beginning approximately 10:00 am This morning the CWSWA was informed that a flow test was completed on the fire suppression system at the Grotto Pizza located on Rt 13, Camden DE. This type of flow testing may contribute to discoloration of water this morning. We do apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. When we are informed in advance of this type of testing taking place, we can notify the public ahead of time and prepare the system to try and minimize instances of brown water. You may experience brown water into the evening from this testing taking place. Please note that we continue to monitor our water system.
