The Camden-Wyoming Sewer & Water Authority is advising residents regarding
Fire Line flushing at the location of Sunset Village Apartments located off Upper
King Rd and Tallman Dr.
This may result in temporary and harmless discoloration of the water and/or
fluctuations in water pressure. Should this occur, running a cold water tap for a
short period will help to restore water color to normal.
To avoid possible discoloration of light-colored clothing, residents may wish not to
launder during the time indicated above and for at the next 24 hours after testing is
complete.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconveniences caused
during this time.
Contact the office at 302/697-6372 during regular business hours of 7:30 am –
4:00 pm; Monday through Friday, should you have any further questions.

The Camden-Wyoming Sewer & Water Authority is advising residents regarding
a Fire Hydrant Flow Test to be completed by request from Henderson Engineers.
This may result in temporary and harmless discoloration of the water and/or
fluctuations in water pressure. Should this occur, running a cold water tap for a
short period will help to restore water color to normal.
To avoid possible discoloration of light-colored clothing, residents may wish not to
launder during the time indicated above and for at the next 24 hours after testing is
complete.

Camden Wyoming Parade 12/9 @6pm

The annual Camden Wyoming Parade will take place on Saturday December 9th starting at 6pm.

Parade Route will start at CR High School on Old North Rd turning right at light onto Main St. Continuing until light and making a right on Camden Wyoming Ave. Parade will end at Railroad Tracks in Wyoming.

Visits with Santa at Wyoming Town Hall immediately following parade. (free event).

Look for the Lights Contest map on our Facebook page and drive around town to see the lights after the parade. Cast your vote for your favorite!

****10/24 Update- Due to mechanical issues at asphalt plant, paving has been delayed. *****

***10/23 Update- Plant is closed for paving material, so crew will be milling the rest of Harrison Ave today. Paving is anticipated to start on Tuesday.****

*** Update: Town Hall paving will end on 10/13. Because of the expected rain North Street will start on Monday and everything else is pushed ahead 2 days.****

Paving Schedule

This is a tentative schedule of the paving that will take place from October 9^th– November 1^st. Please have all vehicles removed from the street by 6am as crews will be coming in early. Flaggers will be on the streets to direct traffic if you need to get in or out of your home.

This schedule may change depending on weather or other unforeseen events. Some streets may take less time whereas others take more time. We will do our best to keep everyone updated via the website or Facebook if there are changes that we are informed of. If you have any questions, please contact town hall staff 302-697-2966

Town Hall parking lot will be closed during paving. Please park on Camden Wyoming Ave or Pine St. if you need to access town hall or police department.

Oct. 9 thru Oct. 12 – Town Hall will take approximately 3 – 4 days
Oct. 12 and Oct. 13- North Street
Harrison Ave will be done in 2 phases

Phase I – Cul De Sac side – Oct. 16 and Oct. 17

Phase II – Oct. 18 and Oct. 19

Oct. 23 and Oct. 24- Chamber Alley
Oct. 25 and Oct. 26- Church Lane
Broad Street will be done in 2 Phases

East Side – Oct. 30 – Oct. 31

Planning and Zoning- DR Horton Preliminary Plans

Planning and Zoning will be holding their meeting on Wednesday August 23rd at 6:30 in the Wyoming Town Hall. This meeting will include a presentation for DR Horton’s Preliminary Plans for Savannah Farms.

National Night Out – August 22, 2023 6-8pm

Wyoming Police Department will be hosting Wyoming’s National Night Out on Tuesday August 22nd from 6-8pm at the Wyoming Park located at the end of W. Third Street. Come join us for a evening of community awareness and all around fun.

This year’s event will feature a bounce house, bounce slide and a mechanical bull. Free hot dogs, chips, ice cream and water will be provided while supplies last. Many agencies and community organizations from Delaware will be attending to provide information to attendees.

Tickets for the K9 Raffle will be sold until 7:15pm with a live drawing at 7:30pm for the winners.
