Roadwork starting Monday June 24,2024
Please use caution and be patient when traveling through Wyoming over the next month. Paving will be taking place on state maintained roads within the town. An estimated schedule is as follows:
Starting Monday June 24th the work will begin on:
*Railroad Ave between Westville Rd past Mill St.
and
*Wyoming Mill Rd between Mill St. and Hazlettville Rd.
Starting on Monday July 1st work will begin on Southern Blvd from E. Railroad Ave to Camden Wyoming Ave.
Starting Monday July 8th work will begin on Caesar Rodney Ave between W. Camden Wyoming Ave to Old North Rd.
If possible avoid these areas between 8am-4pm. There will be flaggers and traffic control during working shifts.
2024-2025 Tax Assessments
The Town of Wyoming has received property assessments from Kent County. The assessments are posted at Camden Wyoming Post Office, Mike and Mel’s Restaurant, Town Hall and online (see link below). These assessment figures are as of 4/16/2024.

Whereas, Professional Municipal Clerks continually strive to improve the administration of the affairs of the Office of the Professional Municipal Clerk through participation in education programs, seminars, workshops and the annual meetings of their state, provincial, county and international professional organizations.
Whereas, It is most appropriate that we recognize the accomplishments of the Office of the Professional Municipal Clerk.

The Town of Wyoming is accepting bids for collection, disposal and removal of solid waste garbage, recycling and yard waste collection within the town limits of Wyoming. There are currently 737 residents utilizing these services. The requirements include curbside pickup:
- trash once a week;
- recycling once a week;
- yard waste every other week;
- bulk once a week for residents;
- one 20 yard roll off for yard waste;
- 6 yard front end trash container for town maintenance use.

The Camden-Wyoming Sewer & Water Authority is advising residents regarding Fire Line flushing at the location of Sunset Village Apartments located off Upper King Rd and Tallman Dr.
This may result in temporary and harmless discoloration of the water and/or fluctuations in water pressure. Should this occur, running a cold water tap for a short period will help to restore water color to normal.
To avoid possible discoloration of light-colored clothing, residents may wish not to launder during the time indicated above and for at the next 24 hours after testing is complete.
We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconveniences caused during this time.

Easter Egg Hunt 3/23- Wyoming Park
Wyoming Police Department in collaboration with Deep Water Church will host Wyoming’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 23rd at 11am for children up to 12 years old. This event will take place at the Wyoming Park located on W. Third St. Children will be split into age groups. Anyone wanting to donate candy or small items to be placed in eggs for this event is encouraged to drop items off to Wyoming Town Hall (120 W. Camden Wyoming Ave) by 3/15/2024.

Eligibility Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older by the date of the election
- Citizen of the State of Delaware
- A qualified elector

- Good results of a criminal background check (no person having been convicted of a felony, of any crime involving moral turpitude, of any crime of dishonesty, or of any crime involving fraud, bribery, or embezzlement, will be qualified to run)
