Board of Adjustment

The Town of Wyoming Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Town Annex, 10 S. Railroad Ave., Wyoming, Delaware. The purpose of the meeting is to receive Mr. Bradford L. Smith and Mr. Brook W. Smith, brothers, are seeking a variance in order to subdivide a property they own at 42 S. Railroad Avenue into two lots, one facing Railroad Avenue which has a home already existing on it and one facing Mechanic Street on which they wish to build a second home. One brother will live in one of the homes and the other brother will live in the other. They wish to be able to move back into Wyoming where they grew up and where their father still lives on Southern Boulevard. The variance is needed due to the proposed subdivision causing each property to be less than the required 10,000 SF for a buildable lot. The street footage on the proposed Mechanic Street lot will also be slightly less than the required 65 feet.
