Beautification

The town is currently looking for volunteers for the beautification committee, anyone who is interested in becoming part of making our town beautiful please contact town hall 302-697-2966

The Wyoming Beautification Committee was the brainchild of former mayor Hans Reigle. Dr. Samuel Johnson, a master gardener, was called on to get the committee organized and active. He provided the initial energy and direction and unfortunately passed away in January 2006. He was an inspiration to us in his losing fight with cancer. It was his designs which were planted along Camden Wyoming and Railroad Avenues.

The purpose of the Committee was, from the beginning, to simply beautify the town and by doing so encourage town folks to ‘beautify’ their own properties, in hopes that the cumulative effect would give all citizens of Wyoming a sense of pride in their Town.
